Our Objectives
Objectives of Gold Coast City - Dubai Chamber of Commerce
• Foster and enhance commercial links to further build on the goodwill already established by Sister City delegations to and from our respectively Twinned Cities
• Seek to identify and capitalise mutual commercial and trading opportunities and further build on existing goodwill that exists between the peoples of Coast City and Dubai generally
• Promote the similarities of Municipal policies to grow and diversify each Cities’ economic and trading base
• Mutually recognise the synergies of both Cities as rapidly growing modern centres of commerce, each able to offer economic opportunities in many areas especially technology, tourism and leisure, marine, education, professional services and civil construction
• Highlight both Cities’ attractiveness as a holiday destination with a diverse and continuously growing range of unique visitation experiences
• Highlight the geo-economic advantages of Dubai as a safe, progressive modern City and gateway to the Middle-east, Africa and Europe highlighting a daily air connection flying into and from Brisbane
• Highlight the geo-economic advantages of Gold Coast City as a safe, clean and friendly City offering access to Australasia, the South Pacific and South East Asia
• Seek specific business opportunities between Dubai and Gold Coast City through support for a dedicated annual Chamber member mission to and from each destination
• Provide mutual member support and assistance for individual businesses and corporations desirous of investigating and establishing trading relationships, joint ventures and investments
• Seek out and support as appropriate, means to establish a streamlined administrative framework, exchanges, business development and networking opportunities that will accelerate and facilitate the spirit of these objectives
• Recognise that through the catalyst of trade and commerce, greater understanding, peace and prosperity is reached between all peoples of the World.
